L ady Gaga through her song “Til It Happens To You” wants to express what it feels like to survive sexual assault: “Gaga shared that the subject matter resonates so deeply with her because she, too, is a sexual-assault survivor.” After the assault the singer didn’t tell anyone for seven years, she didn’t know how to think about it and, above all, she couldn’t accept it because she thought it was her fault. Few months ago she decided to share her experience to help her fans, who’ve gone through something similar, facing this traumatic event and starting a new life.
