The Sussex Centre for Gender Studies brings together a dynamic group of faculty and postgraduate students working on gender and sexuality across the university. We specialise in radical, political, intersectional research on a number of important topics such as sexual violence, hate crime, reproductive rights and LGBTQ issues. We are trans-inclusive and supportive of sex workers’ rights, and work hard to centre marginalised voices in our academic and political praxis.
