During the conference, organized by the RMIT University and the Lancaster University, that took place in Barcelona from 6 to 8 July 2016, Barbara Biglia and Sara Cagliero makes a presentation entitled “Protocolling as a (un)useful strategy to respond to gender violences within Universities: the Catalan case study”. In the presentation they critically compared the protocols designed by the Catalan universities. In particular, they investigated if protocols are able to address all forms of gender violences, if they take into account intersectionality or they reproduce other forms of discriminations, and if they are effective in increasing young people gender violences’ detection capability.
