The purpose of this review is to examine the current (September 2016) provision of first response training at universities in Europe and beyond, with a view to assessing best practice. The review discusses the general features of programs already in place and highlights some limitations of these. It considers additional sources of inspiration for the development of first response training arising from student campaigns, artistic interventions, and survivor testimony. A list of freely accessible training resources is included towards the end of the document.
