The Centre for Gender and Violence Research at the University of Bristol is running a new expert training course on supporting refugee and asylum-seeking (RAS) women who have experienced sexual violence.

The training will take place on 2nd & 3rd October in Bristol and will be entirely free (funded by the EU). There are 20 available places.

It is aimed at practitioners in a range of settings who may come into contact with RAS women and will consist of a mix of content about cultures and countries of origin, journeys to the UK and experiences of sexual and gender-based violence integrated with practical case studies and tools. The modules will be delivered by four expert trainers.
