I n 2014 the victims minister Damian Green, launched £500,000 fund to provide help to male victims of rape. The UK Governement took this decision as different crime survey estimates that there are as many as 72,000 male victims of sexual offences every year. When the found was launched, the ministry of justice started #breakthesilence, a social media campaign to encourage victims to speak about their experiences.
