The Centre for Gender Studies of Dept. of Social Policy of Panteion University organized an open seminar entitled:“ Gender violence, the management of thanato politics and the ambivalence of the feminist discourse in Turkey.”
The lecture was delivered on Monday 3rd of April 2017 by Eirini Avramopoulou, Social Anthropologist, British School at Athens.
The discussion that followed was moderated by Athena Athanasiou, Professor at Panteion University,Head of the Department of Social Anthropology.
The event was attended by 70 participants, students, academics, representatives of key stakeholders institution.
